MEET SASHA
Sasha is a 5yr old Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross English Bull Terrier. She has sadly been neglected in the past but is just the sweetest, most gentle girl who just wants to please. She came into our rescue very underweight and with lots of bald patches on her due to her spending long amounts of time in a crate. Sasha has seen our vet and is now doing really well, eating well and loving life. She is gaining weight and has started to play which is so lovely to see. Sasha is great with other dogs, being currently in foster with a male dog who she is also learning to play with. She loves her walks and is slowly getting stronger as her stamina and fitness is increasing. She will be spayed by our vet as soon as her body condition has recovered. Sasha would love a home where she has her humans about most of the time. She can be left for a few hours but loves to be around people so would suit someone who works from home or who is retired. She needs a secure garden with at least 5ft fencing and a couple of good walks a day. Sasha has happily lived with children in the past but we would prefer kids to be over 10yrs old. Due to her being crated a long time she came to us with urine staining on her tail and back end so was left to toilet in her crate so she has needed some reminding about house training, however, she is learning well and is 95% there. She is such a lovely girl and deserves the best home. She is not a large dog, only 15kg at the moment but we hope to get a couple more kilos on her. So size of a cocker spaniel we would say not far from the size of a staffie. Sasha walks ok on the lead in general and travels well in the car. She is fully vaccinated, chipped and comes with a full health check. Home checks, ID checks, vet references and adoption fee apply
MEET ARCHIE
Archie is an 11 year old Patterdale x Poodle who loves life. Archie was another neglect case who came into our rescue when his owner sadly passed away. It was clear Archie needed urgent medical care so we booked him in with our vet asap and he had his right eye removed as he had a bad injury to it in the past which resulted in glaucoma and complete blindness in the eye. So he is all recovered and is doing very well. This little dog is a trooper he doesn't let anything get him down, always happy and wagging his tail. He has been great with other dogs but prefers calmer dogs. He has been a total sweetheart in foster showing what a loving, happy boy he is. He loves to go for a walk and will play all day in the garden with his ball but having found he has mild arthritis in his back legs he has to have his ball playing in moderation, he is now on medication and is doing really well. Archie also has a slight heart murmur but this doesn't affect him in any way and he doesn't need medication for it but he may have to in the future so needs to be considered. He is a happy boy and can jump up when he is happy to see you so wouldn't suit a home with young kids. He would ideally suit a retired couple that love to spend time with their dogs walking and exploring new places etc. Archie is now neutered and fully vaccinated. He walks well on a lead and is a good traveller. He is fully housetrained but as with all dogs there may be an odd accident in a new home to begin with. Archie can't live with cats being a terrier type. We think Archie has many years in him yet and certainly doesn't act like his years suggest. However, he does settle nicely once he has had his walks or his plays so best of both worlds with this little lad. A fully enclosed, secure garden is a must. Home checks, ID checks, vet references and adoption fee apply
MEET BONNY
Bonny is a 2yr old Shihtzu x Jack Russell needing a quiet home as an only pet. Details to follow
MEET BONNIE
Bonnie is a very special little 4 mth old pup who deserves a very special loving home. Bonnie has a congenital condition called Hydrocephalus, which means she was born with a little too much fluid on her brain. She may require medication and regular check ups throughout her life as and when needed so this needs to be considered, but she is certainly not the worst case and our vet has said that with regular monitoring there’s no reason why she can’t live a normal and happy life just like any other pup . The rescue are willing to fund her medication if need be for the rest of her life so this is not a burden to her new family. So far it’s looking really positive and the good news Bonnie is now medication free and is doing really well, our vet is very pleased with her and is hoping that with regular check ups she will be absolutely fine and live a normal and happy life. Bonnie is not in pain or any discomfort as her fluid levels have returned to normal and this can be seen as she behaves just like a normal puppy, playing, running around, loving lots of cuddles and kisses. She eats really well and just loves her food so training can be made easier. She can be a cheeky monkey and has bags of character, she is so smart and has no problem learning and loves nothing more than playing with her foster brother who is also a Daxi. She's so sweet and just scrumptious and you can’t help but fall in love with her. We are looking for a committed home that wont be put off by her condition and is willing to stick by her and take care of her whilst at the same time treating her like any normal little dog and giving her a normal, fun filled, loved life. She would live another playful dog if a similar size to play with and loves children too. She hasn’t met any cats but with careful intros with gentle cats who are used to dogs, it may be a possibility.

MEET TEDDY
Young Teddy is only 9 mths old and he is needing a new terrier experienced home. Teddy is most likely a Shih Tzu x Jack Russell x Chihuahua, so has lots of character and is a truly adorable little lad. Teddy is looking for a new home due to the current owner having three young grandchildren at their home most days and he cannot cope with this. He can be a little insecure at times and as a result can guard his food or toys leading to growling or even a snap if pushed. Therefore he would need a quieter household, preferably with previous experience of this behaviour but it's not essential as he isn't too bad and has been responding to our training in foster really well. So as long as a new owner is willing to work alongside us and put in the time and patience he needs whilst repecting his need for space, then we will happily consider all applications . He is quite small in size approx 7kg. He loves to play ball and loves his walks so it's important he gets an active enough home, maybe 2/3 walks a day at least 30/45mins each walk. He would love to explore new places and this will help socialising him more as he is still a young lad. We would like him to live with another friendly, neutered dog who can be playful but also act as a mentor and show him life isn't so scary and how to deal with things calmly. He needs a fully enclosed garden where he can play with his ball in between walks. Teddy has now been neutered by our charity, he is fully vaccinated and microchipped and will come with 4 weeks free insurance and back up and advice for life. Home checks, ID checks, vet references and adoption fee apply
MEET TILLY
TILLY IS THE MOST GORGEOUS NATURED LITTLE STAFFY
Tilly is 7yrs old and has come into our rescue due to no fault of her own. She's a super friendly girly who is great with other dogs, kids and cats we are told. We will, of course be doing our own assessments over the next week or so. Tilly is behaving impeccably in her foster home, she's fine being left for a few hours, she's clean in the house, no barking, whining or chewing. She plays lovely with her foster brother and loves her walks. She will need 2 good walks a day and a secure garden with at least 5ft fencing. We can't yet find any fault with this gorgeous baby girl. She's just lovely xx. Not overly giddy but waggy tailed and very affectionate and always happy to see you. Tilly will visit our vet tomorrow for a full health check up, vaccinations and flea and worm treatment.

MEET FREYA
LIttle Freya is a 2-3 yr old Dachshund looking for a loving new home after being abandoned as a stray and not reclaimed. She is a little shy and submissive to start with and will flop on her back and wag her little tail so will need a quieter home in a more rural location ideally. She is good with other dogs and a typical Daxie who has lots of energy, with little legs that can really move so she needs an owner who can keep up with her and keep her active. Also people who can give her lots of company and stimulation as well as further training and socialisation as needed. She would love a couple of nice walks each day come rain or shine. As we have no history of her having lived with children or cats, we wont be looking to rehome her with cats and any children would need to be over the age of 12. Freya is fully vaccinated, spayed and microchipped, health checked and ready to find her new loving home soon.

MEET LUNA
Luna is a lovely girl, at 4yrs old she's had to come into rescue due to no fault of her own. She's now settling in to her foster home and over the next couple of weeks we will be doing our usual assessments. Luna has visited our vets today for a full health check up and to restart her vaccinations and be treated for fleas and worms as with all our dogs. Luna is a very affectionate, loving girl with lots of love to give but she can be a little timid at times, especially around men that she doesn't know but she soon comes round given time and she shows no aggression. She is very playful and loves to play tug with her foster sister, she is clean in the house and has good recall off the lead. As with all Labs she loves her food but she can growl at other dogs if they come too close to her bowl. She doesn't snap or bite it is just a growl and that is all.
