Our amazing volunteer team of 3 trustees, Julie, Jo and Vikki and a few other very valuable volunteers are committed to helping dogs in our community. . Our amazing volunteer team of 3 trustees, Julie, Jo and Vikki and a few other very valuable volunteers are committed to helping dogs in our community. . We take our convictions and turn them into action for dogs in need. We are committed to helping each and every one of them find their Best Life. We do not have any paid staff as we are volunteers giving up our own time, as well as holding down full time jobs elsewhere and having our own familes and dogs to take care of. Every penny raised goes back into helping the dogs in our care, guaranteed.
We are a foster based rescue as we beleive this gives us the best way to find out all we can about the dogs in our care and therefore find the perfect home for them. We also beleive it's much nicer for our dogs to be in a family environment than a cold kennel all alone.
Our adoption Fee starts from £395 per dog and this includes, full vaccinations, neutering (if old enough), microchipping, flea and worm treatments, blood & health testing and 4 weeks free insurance with Petplan, support/advice and back up for life.

However the trustees reserve the right to refuse an application at any point in the process if it is thought that the home is not safe or suitable for a dog and their decision is final and unquestionable and will only ever be in the best interests of the dog and nothing else. We politely ask that you respect this and whilst we may be able to give feedback on our decision, but this is not always possible.

Having always been passionate about Dogs and their welfare and happiness, Julie & Jo began their own dog rescue charity back in the early nineties in which they succesfully rescued and rehomed almost a thousand dogs that would have otherwise have been euthanised in council pounds for no reason other than their owners didn't want them any
Having always been passionate about Dogs and their welfare and happiness, Julie & Jo began their own dog rescue charity back in the early nineties in which they succesfully rescued and rehomed almost a thousand dogs that would have otherwise have been euthanised in council pounds for no reason other than their owners didn't want them any longer. In those days the pounds were so full of strays of all breeds and ages and they were only given 7 days to be claimed and then euthanized so we started to take these poor, often sad and desperate to be loved dogs and find them the loving homes they deserved. Since then we have been rescuing and rehoming dogs whilst also helping other dog rescues in the area. In 2015 we teamed up with the fabulous Vikki and have grown from strength to strength. As TRUE dog lovers we believe all dogs deserve their BEST LIFE, all of them are special no matter their breed, size or age and if we can help, we will always do our absolute best for the pure love of dogs. ❤️🐾

We focus on making sure each dog gets the right home for their individual needs, likes and dislikes and we can do this by predominantly using foster homes for our dogs to get to know them as well as we can. We are then here for our dogs and their adopters every step of the way for advice and support for the rest of their lives and love nothing more than to see regular pupdates.
